Anyone noticed there's no signature box on the new return?

Just doing my first post 1 Apr year end and dictating the letter "please sign......"

Had a look on .gov and it matches, spoke to software provider, they say, yep, that's right, it's in line with HMRC (which is appears to be)

Just find it a bit strange. Worth making some further provision in the letter of rep?

My Taxfiler software still has a client signature box on the Declaration page.

Can you not use the previous version, or is there something specific on the 2015 version?

Nothing specific as such, but it's an updated form which we knew about, but just didn't expect to not see a signature box.

We use IRIS software, which IIRC Eric uses too, so I'm sure he'll either know already or at least be interested in. We use electronic signatures for many things, but I guess I like that hard copy with some ink on it still!

I updated my Iris not so long ago and the CT600 it produces still has the signature box.
