Has anyone come across an implementation of Worldpay (or other payment provider for that matter) where a physical card machine is integrated with a website?

Scenario: website is run as a kiosk with attached card machine, user browses website, finds product, then uses chip & pin machine to pay. Essentially, adding a card machine as an alternative payment method.

TIA

not seen it done - but in theory should be possible - it is no different in concept to most tills now in terms of code speaking to an attached machine... but quite specialist coding I suspect...

Doesn't sound much different to the rail platform ticket machines... touch screen interface, buy products, pay with physical card?

You might be looking at the WordPay Order Notification service (PDF)

I would also suspect that general chip and pin machines aren't allowed to be used unattended, so you might need the Integrated Payments product which specifically mentions kiosks.

Knowing the payment gateways this will all turn out to be rather expensive.
