Food based ecommerce

Does anybody have experience of the above, specifically whether they've been able to make it work on a relatively small scale?

I have, it depends on they type of food. If its fresh food you need to get the packaging / distribution 100% right as the local council end up all over it. Not all couriers will carry food so it can be expensive if you need to keep stuff fresh.

Buy some chicken breasts from Musclefood. a) they are nice chicken, and b) be awestruck at the packaging
