Finding trade contacts

[dfen5]

Bit of a shot in the dark this but I'd like to take on another machine tool agency. Is there somewhere where companies advertise or seek agents / distributors in the UK?

I'd draw up a list of companies I'd like to be an agent for, and ring them up.

Answering adverts just puts you in a queue of applicants.
