Jersey Company Accounts

Hi guys

Just a quick one, I'm doing some diligence so wanted to grab a set of financial statements for a company registered in Jersey. By googling I managed to get the company number and downloaded their annual return, but no sign of the accounts themselves.

Am I missing something, or is it not that easy? I'm used to using Companies House previously for this stuff but that's when I had a subscription with a prior employer and they don't have jersey data!

If jersey is like Guernsey, the accounts of private limited companies are not a matter of public record.

Yea that's kind of what I'm thinking - it was last week I was looking and thought the same. Figured I'd throw a thread up to double check though!

There is no requirement to lodge accounts with our "companies house". The only things you can access is statutory docs, annual returns, copies of special resolutions and certificates of good standing, for a small fee.
