I don't take cards in my main business as it's all B2B but would like to for a small side project I've got going (as a sole trader, not through the Ltd) that's going to involve sales at craft fairs & the like.

I'd like to be able to take card payments and something like iZettle or Paypal here would seem to fit the bill - does anyone have any experience of such gizmos? Any other serious contenders?

Don't want monthly fees as likely to be low volume, typical sale £20 - £40 - I just want to have the facility to remove the barrier to impulse buys.

Cheers

We have an iZettle unit, the free one that plugs into a phone, you can pay a bit more to get one that looks a bit more 'professional'.

Works well, money deposited quickly, fees aren't bad..

I use Zinc from Worldpay as it is one of the only ones that allows you to take telephone orders and send payment requests as well as use the little terminal.

No fees

Prompt payments

Worldpay Zinc here also. No real issues, although the first one had a battery failure and had to be kept plugged in.
Worldpay replaced it free of charge though.

Easy to use, simple to setup.
