Mail Merge Faxing - yes faxing!

Can anyone recommend a system for sending bulk FAXES (yes did I said faxes if you remember those).

Say a few hundred pages each month to regular (old school) clients, not for spamming!

Either via a client app or locally with a modem connected to a telephone line?

I used to use a system called Hylafax that had features like this, but I mainly had it configured to grab incoming faxes and turn them into PDFs - ostensibly with the idea that we'd save paper and reduce clutter, though the ability to re-print a fax rather than find the original copy you had a minute ago tended to mean we printed more, not less.

It's a Linux-based system (or was) but would support this kind of stuff and had a Windows-based virtual print driver. Might be easier and cheaper to use a specialist mailing company, if there still are any.

Hylafax server plus something like FrogFax client. Easy to set up, should do what you want. IIRC you can fax from Word so use the Word mailmerge if you want them personalised, or a send list to just blast a fax out.
