Best Payment Gateway

[AC123]

Hi

Just finalising my website and need to set up a payment gateway. Cheap and reliable would be nice - of course they don't often go hand in hand.

Any recommendations?

I've found Stripe to be great. No redirecting to third party, ugly pages, which is good for user experience. Pricing is 1.4% + 20p per transaction.

Stripe does look pretty good - I can only find this though:

Is that $79 for a year with no other fees or am I reading it wrong?

Thanks

Stripe is good, but no 3dsecure. Braintree looks good but a bit trickier to use?

Do you just want to take cards, or would you want to expand to take alternative payment methods in future? Before integrating one cheap but restricted gateway it's worth considering. NETELLER, Skrill, etc are becoming more and more prevalent these days.

I was amazed how friendly Worldpay are now with real "answer the phone" back up to integrate. For a start up they were pretty cheap but I am with Nat West (who they are now nothing to do with - spun out)

Only card payments and I don't think that would change any time soon (if ever).

I'm not the best with Wordpress so something that is easy to implement would be a bonus!
