Advice: Hiring Garden Equipment

Hi,
Looking for some advice/potential pitfalls regarding hiring out to consumers a variety of garden equipment.
We have existing suppliers of garden machinery as we sell Lawnmowers, Brushcutters and we have a local mechanic who does repairs etc for us.
We have a Garden Centre and as we sell machinery I was thinking of hiring equipment out.
What should I look for/look out for?
What brands are preferential and which brands would you/if any pay a premium for?
I was thinking Lawnmowers/Brushcutters/Scarifiers/Hedgetrimers is there anything you would hire that I am missing?
