Triple wall cardboard sheet cost
Discussion
Does anyone work with triple wall cardboard at 15mm thick? I might have a regular buying requirement in the not too distant - can anyone help with a supplier who's flexible with board sizes and quantities please?
If you'd like to put some contact details up here rather than PM me as there seems to be an unsolvable problem with my PH email address.

What sort of quantity? e.g. 1 sheet a week, 1 pallet a week, 1 truck full a week, 1 truck full per day?
Any other requirements? Pre-creased/cut?
With the extra info I'll get in touch with our cardboard expert.
I've drawn up the layout for a cutting forme and would be having these cut and creased.Any other requirements? Pre-creased/cut?

The layout for the cutting forme takes up an area of approx 580x1570mm and I anticipate requiring 12 at a time but placing a monthly order for maybe x17 x 12.
So I need to understand sheet sizes to reduce waste or perhaps use waste if there are offcuts big enough.
Is this enough to give an idea? Additionally do you have a foam expert? (open cell, 10-15mm thick, quite rigid, grey, smooth if you know the stuff I've got in mind?) I'm considering having the same item cut out of foam as an alternative, whichever is cheapest.

There is no "standard size" for board. It is either made to order, usually for a minimum of 500 square metres, or for smaller quantities it may be possible to buy some floor stock from a converter. In the latter case, this is wholly dependent upon whatever size of material a converter may have available at any one time. It should also be noted that there are a wide range of board grades that can be made. Therefore, in reality, the only way to ensure consistency of quality and supply is to have material made to order. This will also be the most cost effective as waste can then be kept to a minimum.
My cardboard/packaging expert is surprised that Rosewood weren't able to assist. He suggests you contact XXX XXX, Sales Director xxx.xxx@rosewoodpackaging.co.uk, 0191 293 xxxx or 07973 xxxxxx. He was with xxx at an Auditel client yesterday and mentioned your enquiry, so be sure that your client mentions us. If the enquiry is too small for Rosewood, I am sure XXXX will be able to point you in the direction of somebody else locally in the North East who can help.
Otherwise, I can only suggest that you identify local box makers in the hope that one may have something suitable in stock.
If you pm me, or clck through to my profile to find my contact deails etc. I can fill in the XX's above for you.
