I've just had a chunky bill from BT for my office phone, mainly due to calls by me to mobile phones.

The obvious answer is to do the BT Anytime Package for £8.50 pm which halves the price of mobile calls and gives inclusive landline calls.

An alternative might be to get a VoIP business package, but people like Voipfone don't seem any cheaper.

Or the "PH Business Massive" may have a better idea...

Can anyone help guide me?

it looks like paying BT £8/month makes the call charges cheaper than they were, but they're still high. Vonage are cheaper than BT, but would depend how many calls / duration you're making, https://www.vonage.co.uk/call-plans/rates/

As another option - cheap £10/month mobile contract with 400 mins or something and use an app from the carriers website on your existing handset. Three for exampe do a rolling 30 day SIM only plan with 400 mins/month for about £14

Hi,

I can probably help. Is it just the one line you have? Any other users? Do you work away from office? Do you need to port calls to your landline to your mobile?
Can you send me your bill? I can do a cost comparison for you and give you an alternative.
