We currently have around 5,000 lines of inventory all in batches (for regulatory reasons) with assigned batch codes so we can track who we sold each item to and where it went from any particular batch.

We currently use an ERP tool to fulfil this, however its total garbage and overpriced and far too complex, we have less than 5 users.

I'm not entertaining any solutions that have high capital requirements and smoke and mirrors licensing requirements as I have such a package already.

Anyone used https://www.unleashedsoftware.com/ ?
This combined with Xero should be a good call in theory.

What are your experiences.

Currently speaking with Unleashed. Give them a bell and talk with Stephen Jones. Tell him your set up and he'll advise as to whether he thinks unleashed is suitable - he made me look at my operation from an entirely different angle.

Take a look at Dear Inventory.

Read the reviews via xero forums. All really positive.
I saw this, one thing simply couldn't figure out is where are they based? There's no address or any kind of information about them.

They are based in Australia.

I have noticed that some of the best apps and accounts add-ons lately seem to have been developed in AUS or NZ.

I am using Linnworks and it seems pretty good, however I have not looked into whether it has traceability of stock, either way its another system/name to take a look at.

I use that already for another business, excellent piece of software and gets my recommendation.
Unfortunately it's totally unsuitable for the other one.
