I'm a contractor and I needs to quickly rustle up some business card for a meeting on Monday. I'm attending the meeting with my current client but I want to be clear I'm a contractor not an employee.

I just need something generic but reasonably professional looking, with my contact details on it. I can do it on line but quick delivery is reasonably expensive (when I only need about 4 or 5), and at this late stage may not arrive.

Do those kiosk business card printing machines still exist? if so do any of the high street chains have them, and are they of passable quality?

Solopress would be able to get them delivered to you on Monday (however in my experience they've turned up at 5:59pm)

A local printers may be able to help you - where are you located?

I'm in the Walderslade area of Kent.

Its not a massive issue. Its just that if they like what they see then they might be looking for a Developer/BA to do the same in the next year or so.

If I hand over a contractor business card then its a subtle way of saying I might be available smile

You can buy a box of A4 Avery pre-scored business cards from Staples, design your own card and print them yourself.

If you have a handy Windows expert, possibly by Monday.

Good Luck.

Thansk, but I've managed to sort it. Stapes will print in 15 minutes from an image file. I just need to knock up a quick card, then email it to them.
