Designer/boutique hotel fitting/refitting or similar

Can anyone offer any insight into product sourcing for the hotel industry? Specifically the furniture or decorative items you'd find in the rooms of a quality hotel, rather than equipment that staff use.

When it comes to interior design or redesign/refit
for hotels, how does that process take place - ie, is it contracted to an interiors/design group or consultancy or similar?

Are there publications relating to B2B interior design sourcing and services which might cover this? (any other info about where/how design-led products are sourced would be useful if you have any info).

Concorde BGW are a full design and build company for pubs and hotels etc. They also have an interiors website http://www.revivalist.co.uk/ which has some good products for hotels.
