Can anyone suggest a company for this?

Also is it a lot more expensive than personal?

We have two people with company cars (Fiesta's) that we need to renew.

Both me and the wife have our own businesses and we both use Aviva for insurance. Van for me Car for her. Both are insured for business and personal use. They were the cheapest this year by a fair amount.

Business use isn't usually much more than personal but it may depend on the type of business use.

Give LV a try also. That's who I use. I was with Aviva but changed when I renewed the car.

The problem boils down who owns the vehicles. You or your wife personally, you and your wife as sole traders, or does a "company" own them.

If it's the latter then a few issues arise.

1. You may have accrued 6 years ncd, but the company is a separate legal entity.
2. The use. Business use has differing levels traditionally. The lowest level is the most common, which is business use in connection with YOUR own business. But if the vehicle is company owned, and you need business use on behalf of your employer (as even though you own the company you are an employee of it)

It's worth checking out properly via a broker to make sure you have the right use for your needs, as direct sales are unadvised.

For the op there are a lot of new mini fleet products out there which go as low 2 vehicles but these can only be bought via brokers (like my company).

It hurt when I transferred my car out of the company. I managed to find a company who would mirror the ncb fortunately... (I did have to write a polite letter to myself confirming my claim history)!
