Hi all,

We had a relationship with a supplier of collision cameras. The product had failed to capture collisions on a couple of occasions so the then boss of the U.K. operations agreed to buy the units back off us. I have an email offering to buy back the units for over £300 each and there is no timeframe on the offer. I then worked with the sales rep who assisted me with returning the units. I have now been informed over four months after sending the units back that I was being paid £100 each as they are now old technology. Although it did take us best part of a year to send the units back there was no timeframe on the offer and when I was speaking to the rep about returning them I was never informed of the fact the offer had changed. What are my rights here?

I'm not entirely convinced you really have a leg to stand on, even if the offer didn't have a time limit on it. How did it take you a year to get rid of something you didn't want? You wouldn't agree to sell a car for £5,000 today and then still expect the buyer to pay the same in a years time...

Just to update you, we advised we were going to litigate against the company and it was settled in full.
