Holiday letting business in South France

Good afternoon...does anybody own an apartment or villa or anything in the Var region of France ? I'm looking to buy something ideally 90-100% mortgaged that allows me to rent it out 4-6 months of the year, pays for itself and then allows me to sue it when empty. Does anyone know any mortgage brokers / contacts who might look at this sort of business ?

I think you will struggle with 90 - 100% mortgage. My experience of french banks is that they are even more cautious than UK ones.

If it was as easy as your post suggested we would all have homes in every city of the world.

Unless you already live over there and know the system and the pitfalls you might want to have a read of it first. For instance setting up a company isn't as simple as it is in the UK.
