Insurance excess
Discussion
Mods move this if you think it needs to.
Last week I did some sub contract work for another firm and had the use of their vehicle, however I caught someone else's bonnet and scratched it, exchanged details for insurance me giving the company I was working for their details.
Invoiced company for days work but questioned the amount paid to bank as it was £250 short, they have informed me that they have deducted their £250 excess.
Now I have cover on my vans but have never deducted the excess from the driver if there has been an accident.
What's the best way to argue this, if there is one.
