Anyone done it?

Have a family member doing an (overpriced) course. We are talking over £2000 for a few days.

I've been reading a lot about it. Looks to have been widely discredited and scientific research seems to show it being almost cult like (similarities to Scientology etc). Has that feel of an "Industry" that sits right at the edge of morality. Ie. Pseudo-science, hard to prove any benefit but gets defended to the death by those "selling" it. One of the guys that started it seems to have an interesting past. "Dr" Richard Bandler. Charged with the murder of a Prostitute, found not guilty.

Be interested in people's thoughts as I am a little worried.

I have heard of it from people i worked with, always seemed to be a quite interesting thing and they spoke positively about it.
