Ive never flown from City Airport and I've now got a trip to Edinburgh next week.

I'm just travelling with hand luggage, how much time should I allow to get from tube (dlr?) through security etc. I'll check in on-line the day before.

Thanks

Fifteen mins tops, depending on how busy security is. Very straightforward indeed; great little airport.

well 10.30 am flight

id like to be through security before 10am tbh as that's close to boarding time

but yes the airport is tiny and super easy

Cheers

It looks like I can either get there at 9.40 or 10.15.

I'll go for 9.40 me thinks.

Flown in and our of London City many times, great airport.

I always get my boarding pass online and either print or have it on my phone ready as sometimes the boarding card machines/desks can be busy.

Indeed. It's delayed me twice. Plus the Black Lives Matters protest of course.

Just be careful if your flight is on a Saturday. Flight ops close at 12.30 so if your flight in or out is delayed you might be screwed.
