Have a little ecommere shop running, only a couple of thousand products, but we recently moved into a new unit and are getting more and more folk walking in off the street to purchase.

Can anybody recommend some invoice systems, where I can list all my products and prices, so I can provide a nice printed invoice, at the moment I'm having to do hand written ones which is all a bit "open all hrs".

Looked at Sage but seems a bit overkill for what I want, and would prefer something that works on both office PC and Apple products.

Do have something called invoice studio on an old iPad, which doesn't work to bad, however it's an old iPad, and although I have a new one the details just won't transfer across.

Ta in advance.

Thanks, looks suitable, however I think it's a bit like sage, where I'm paying for all the other stuff such as the accounting side of things, which I don't really need.

There must be something out there that is purely a "invoice" tool only.

If it's purely to produce an invoice, just set a template up in Excel/Another package you can then print off.

Wouldn't having it do the accounts side of things automatically for you would be a benefit and save time spent elsewhere? We don't use half the stuff it does but even being able to email invoices and statements meant we saved money using Xero than our old Sage software (really old Sage software!)

edit: https://www.waveapps.com/invoice/ do an free invoice tool and it seems Quickbooks have a cheaper plan available. Not sure what either is like

Is this exclusively for retail or will it be for the whole business?

What sort of things do you mean 'don't need'?

I would have thoight you business would be like others, in the need to produce accounts and manage VAT etc.

Something like Xero is £20 a month. Hardly back-breaking!

Another for Kashflow. Very straightforward.

Hi,

I would definitely recommend TradeGecko, the manual invoicing is extremely good, it is the fastest system I have used in this respect, plus it has stock management features etc and will integrate with your website - assuming its a popular back end!

Purely for anyone who pops into the unit.

So what do you use for the rest of the business? Surely you must raise invoices for online stuff as well?

We use a combination of PayPal Here and Woocommerce on a Wordpress site. The WooCommerce system supports a POS plugin which enabled us to create orders on the fly and print off the invoice/receipt. Using WooCommerce also means we can sell a lot online so it acts as a single stock control system for both online and walk-in customers
I'm currently integrating the WooCommerce data with a scanning and document management system using OpenKM (or maybe Alfresco, I'm still in the dev stage) which also means I can collate the info from invoices from suppliers along with the data for stock control

happy to discuss the setup if you want

My partner has an iZettle for selling at fairs it works really well.

Alternatively just use your own website through the iPad?

Not just login to the website and add an order via website and email/print invoice from that?

Could be a good idea, but may need setting up of a delivery address of the store?

The POS plugin I use bypasses that requirement
