I am looking to place an order with a supplier in China to be shipped (Air Freight) directly to my UK client, this isn't the first time I have done this but I am conscious that the package will most certainly have the suppliers original invoice attached to the packaging along with the airway bill etc which is not ideal.

The supplier uses FedEx and as far as I know they wouldn't offer a service whereby the package can be re-labelled once it reaches the UK and then sent on to the client in plain guise.

Apart from having the package sent to myself in the UK and I remove all invoice and paperwork and hire a van to take it to the client myself (It's a 404kg package and I'll be in Sweden at the time), has anyone any experience of a freight forwarding company that can offer this? getting the package all the way from A-B including clearing customs and import VAT ?

TIA.

Google Staydan freight services. They are very good.

Depending on what you're buying, I shouldn't worry.

A couple of years ago we converted to LED lighting, our local electrical wholesaler was charging us about £27 per 6ft tube (requiring a conversion on the fitting).

They ran out of stock and then said it would be 28 days delivery. When they arrived they had the factory's name on them and the consignee name (the importer) and also a delivery note from our supplier.

Then, I learned about Aliexpress and now buy direct, an all in one 6ft LED integrated light, plug and play and can be linked almost ad infinitum, about £10 each despite the exchange rate. Oh, and shipped 7 day by Fedex or DHL

My ex electric wholesaler has lost a decent bit of business.

I think the point was that the customer would probably be on his toes pretty quick anyway if he had any nous.
