I'm looking at incorporating Feefo or Trustpilot or the like on an commerce website.

Can anyone offer advice on which Review site is the best? The two above charge £149 pm at entry level and this strikes me as very steep. Can anyone offer testimonial that it's worth it, what the benefits may be or if there's a better option please?

Thank in advance.

I can't give you much of a comparison, but I've been involved in several Magento websites that have used reviews.co.uk and I've found their integration and plugins to be generally pretty decent, as long as you don't want to change too much about the look of them.

As a consumer I don't think many customers care much which site you use, as long as the company has lots of good feedback.

Unless your business really needs it for ranking or something I would not bother.
If you can add some code to your own site to do in house reviews I would do that instead.

May I ask why? Sites like reviews.co.uk not only make it really easy to gather customer feedback, but also easy to display on your website too.

...Ranking is exactly what we need it for. I feel that the prices of the Truspilot, Feefo et al are difficult to justify and I tend to agree with Jammy-git that

Reviews.co.uk is a good suggestion but does it have the same authority with Google (organic and paid) as TP or FF?

We use Trusted Shops on our Magento website. It's a bit cheaper than those you mention but it works very well with good support and add-ons.

With thanks to everyone who made a suggestion here, after further research I believe the answer is the one @jammy-git suggested: reviews.co.uk - they seem to do pretty much what the more expensive sites do (well, ok, without some of the bells and whistles that are unnecessary I feel) but for an entry price of £45 per month. I still feel £45 per month is high, by the way, but when Feefo & Trustpiolt want £145, I guess it's all relative.

Job done.

Before you do anything I would pay for a ranking review by an independent expert before you decide what you need.
It's possible a good inbound traffic consultant would recommend other ways to get busy that are not "forever" .

Low-tech answer - I had a page called 'Testimonials' and simply copy/pasted in glowing e-mails smile

OK so I could have faked them, but I didn't need to. It seemed to work well.
