Insurance for 5 vans
Discussion
Been with Aviva for 5 years and been great but renewal premium gone up 40% this year.
Anyone recommend a broker or company to go direct to?
Axa will only do fleet with ones years fleet policy usage
Direct Line will only do a director as named main driver with his no claims liable.
Think we are to small for fleet insurance but have a 5 small cheap vans and each are driven by 3-5 drivers.
Thanks

It's situations like this where specialist brokers come into their own. For 99% of us, the meerkat people, the fat opera singer, or that nodding dog will do just fine, but when it gets a bit complicated, they're useless.
Never used this lot before, though I'm assuming they can help:
http://www.motorfleetquote.co.uk/
Their fleet cover starts with a minimum of 3 vehicles.
Even if you don't end up using them, you'll be able to get a baseline quote, and a bit of advice thrown in, I shouldn't wonder.

this is right up our street, you have started talking to Adam already stick with him. On fleets its best not to have more than 2 brokers (your holding and one other) looking at it, as the market is easily covered by 2 brokers, and if insurers start seeing your business from a number of sources they will turn you down.
If you haven't started talking to adam then get in touch as I your man;)

Go online with Aviva and get a quote, or go through a cashback site to Aviva if you can, both will be cheaper than their renewal price.
I did just this when my Aviva renewal came through and like yours had gone up.
By going through the TopCashBack website, again with Aviva, I managed to negate the premium rise and make a saving.

Look at your risk profile, age of drivers, any convictions, do you track your vehicles, immobilisers etc.
