Our conference room (5m x 4m) is not connected to the AC system as it's a fair distance from the main office area.

It has radiators for warmth in the winter as that part of the building is close to the boiler but nothing in the summer for cooling.

The windows are sealed units and the doors can't be kept open as the factory noise becomes obtrusive.

Anyone recommend a decent cooling fan that can be used in the room during meetings? Needs to be quiet and not blast air around disturbing paperwork.

Dyson Pure Cool Link TP02 is default choice at this point and whilst it's half the cost of having a proper standalone AC unit installed, it's a lot of cash

You need to dump the heat somewhere, that's just physics.

The fan will just blow the hot air around.

If the windows don't open then you may well need mechanical ventilation anyway as a legal requirement.

But again that won't cool the air, unless you actually added cooling to either the incoming air or the air in the room.

Don't do anything and enjoy the shorter meetings :-)

Are you sure you cant put a small AC hose out the window? A portable £300 AC unit works well
