Selling through Apple and US IRS liabilities?

I sell an ebook through Apple and as a ltd company in the UK had to obtain a US Tax number called an EIN.

I believe I have to complete a US tax return and am wondering if anybody who has ben in this position has had to do the same?

If so do the IRS send you the relevant form or reminder with what form to fill in?

I haven't published an ebook myself yet, but from what I gather income is taxed at source from U.S. sales with no further action required once you have your tax number given to you from the IRS.
