Discussion
Just to cheer us all up I've just seen this
But is he happy
That's only £78.5 billion - sounds a tad better!

As the years have gone on I think the quality of sites out there has deteriorated. When searches for things online now inevitably you land on one of a thousand affiliate sites with poor content trying to punt you on to another site where they earn commission.
Amazon has always offered a pretty good user experience, so I'm not surprised they are cleaning up against that backdrop.

Its mostly down to investment. They've spent massively to dominate the market
Don't they also benefit from a rising share price and not paying dividends - which funds the investment/growth.(Tax considerations aside).

This is not directly about Jeff Bezos, but someone who I know bought 20K shares of Amazon around 2001.
Yesterday I was talking to him and he was thinking of liquidating his shares. Lucky Bas....
