Wondering if a company gains 'gross status' on the construction industry scheme, is HMRC notified of total payments received by the contractor?

It's a real piss take that a LTD company is still taxed at source, disgraceful.

Do you know if HMRC are currently notified of contractors earnings on gross status regardless?

No.

Contractors being paid from government agencies will be notified (like PAYE employees) but non government entities don't do this for the moment.

Good to read.

When you say, for the moment, have you any idea how far in the future when this will change (if at all)?

Could be next year or 2019. It was mentioned in the budget that they were looking to extend deductions at source to ALL ltd co. contractors. in all circumstances - not just those working in the public sector.
