Something totally out of my comfort zone but a family member has asked me to buy and ship a small digger/excavator (used) from the UK to Vancouver.

So what things do I need to look out for?
What options do I have regarding Shipping?
What costs could I expect?
How is there tax payable?

Basically this particular machine is much cheaper her in the UK.

I would think it unlikely to be much cheaper by the time you add taxes and shipping. Is it worth the hassle?
