Closed LTD co, final accounts

Hi all,
I started a LTD company for a contracting role that fell through. I kept the company for a business idea that I had, but after a year I hadn’t got it off the ground so decided to just close the company. No money ever went into or out of the company.
The company is now closed but I need to submit final accounts and tax return to hmrc, I did this, with each month showing £0.00 but this has been returned as the “company is closed”.
Do I need to do anything more? I’d hate to get fined for not paying my £0.00 tax, but no one at hmrc answers the phone anymore!
