Any Citrix XenDesktop / XenApp experts?..

Hi
App Layering 4.9 Windows 10 1709
We're having issues finding out if UWP Apps are supported with app layering and was hoping there are some Citrix guru's out there. Win 10 1709 is supported with version 4.9 but the Windows App store must be disabled. Question is, does laying work with line of business UWP Apps which have been side loaded (not store loaded) in Windows 10 with layering?.. There's a lot of conflicting info out on the Citrix forums / web etc and they're really slow to responding to queries.
Thanks in advance..

Don’t query citrix on the forum - you won’t necessarily get an answer from them. It’s a community resource rather than something they are obliged to respond to. Have you tried raising a support incident with them?
I have done some reading - it appears somebody has asked the same question here (yourself?)

It seems Citrix are saying that UWP apps can’t be included in an app layer and it’s implied that they arent support at all (which is the point that you need them to clarify explicitly). I can’t see any clear statement that you can’t execute a side-loaded non-store app if it’s included in the OS layer, but it’s implied from some users posts that they might be doing this. Have you tried this / does it work?

Thanks theBoss / Cyberprog - not me but that was indeed posted by our Ops guy. We're waiting clarification but we're considering abandoning the UWP route now due to the ambiguity around this. We've done a test deployment of a side-loaded App which installed fine but it wouldn't work with the layering.I have done some reading - it appears somebody has asked the same question here (yourself?)
