Discussion
Our company sells bathrooms and we have 4 employees (fitters are self employed). We don't have a "mailing list" as such and we don't send marketing emails.
The only way we gather customer details is by them contacting us for a brochure or home appointment. Am I right in thinking we don't need to gain permission from them retrospectively? We'll only send them a "we haven't heard back from you, are you still interested" kind of email rather than a "look at our new range" type email.
By permission, I mean in the way the likes of MSE have been emailing about recently.
Thank you

Thanks for your response:We try a couple of times then "dead lead" them, they are then not contacted again.
We don't offer an opt out at the moment.
Data is stored in a Sage database.
We use self employed (could maybe considered sub contractors) guys to fit the bathrooms when sold but everything else is in house (one of the 4 of us)
