Help required with Linked In

I hope you're well. Can someone kindly tell me how can I find out if I have already sent a message (not invitation) to a person who is already connected to me on Linked In?

I want to send the same message to a group of people who are connected to me. Can I send the message just once (a bit like the same email being sent to several people at once), or would I need to send the message individually to the relevant people?

it always looks like 100% spam and put it in the same bucket as "we heard you had an accident and want to claim money" stuff.
