Hi,

I’m hosting an event at the RAF Museum in Hendon for two, possibly three days. I’m after a temporary broadband capability that’s independent of the facility itself - can anyone offer insight/help?

Also, how much might I expect t to pay for a professional videography service to stream the speakers/event?

Cheers,

Al.

There are companies who offer temporary wireless solutions using 4G routers and or satellite. Obviously this is depends on the 4G coverage. I can't recommend anyone as the only company I have dealt with were rubbish.

Hi Al, Myself and a friend are currently setting up to offer videography & photography services, I'd be interested to hear what you want in the way of streaming, do you need multiple cameras etc or just a fixed camera live streaming to (for example) youtube?

Thanks pig.

Undercover - one static focused on the speaker/panel, and one occasionally roving between presentations, doing voxpops etc.

Thanks, ok - nothing too strenuous, except live streaming will throw some big and expensive spanners in the works...

How many people do you anticipate to be watching the live stream?

Indeed. Decent stage lighting and quality sound with an iPhone can cure all manner of evils. Mating the AV with the means to project it to the outside world is the issue.

iphone?...

I suppose its a question of just how slick of a production you want it to be.
I would spec a 3-person team, 2x GH5's (one static, one roving) wirelessly connected to a video mixing desk (+ auto) - from there out to a streaming service (Youtube live / Facebook live) via some form of broadband.

FB streams are 720p with a max bitrate of 4mbps so that will certainly help your bandwidth requirements (and means you wont need the last word in uber 4k cameras etc)
