Buying a Factory using a SIPP pension
Discussion
Hello All,
The Limited company I own owns a factory worth approx £670k with a mortgage of £200k remaining.
Would it be possible to borrow money to pay for the factory purchase and clear the mortgage and transfer it in a SIPP pension that would be set up for my wife and I .
I have read that the SIPP can borrow up to 50% of the factory purchase price to do this
Any advice would be most hepful
Thanks
Sam

You have read wrong.
The SIPP can borrow up to 50% of its value at the time of borrowing, not 50% of what you are buying.
What is the current value of your pensions and what contributions have you made over the current and previous three tax years?
You may find a SSAS better for you than two SIPP's.
