Anyone have any tips on how to take out the above as I have drawn a blank so far?
Background is we have purchased a small single story former office which is not much bigger than a double garage, it also attached to a two story house. Our plan is to obtain planning to demolish it and build a detached house on the plot. Planning has now been obtained but we are going to test the market as a development opportunity for someone first before we decide to build it.
Our solicitor has now advised us to take out buildings insurance in case of a fire etc that may damage the adjoining house but I can’t seem to get a quote for this.
Is buildings insurance appropriate or should I be looking at public liability etc? For info this is a part time project and not our day jobs.
