I know this has come up before but couldn't find a recent thread. What's a ballpark figure of what I should be paying for end of year accounts/confirmation statement and anything associated that I've forgotten?

-Turnover ~400k
-5 staff
-We handle payroll/VAT submissions in-house
-All invoices/salaries/expenses etc are run through QuickBooks Online so I just 'invite' the Accountant through the software and they can access everything remotely.

We paid £160 + vat inc payroll, the advice and support was none existent and it was a big mistake.
We now pay £600 a month to cover 2 tax returns, 2 ltd company returns, VAT on one company and good advice on tap and one full day a month with a experienced book keeper. 15 staff.

Thank you, we've been with the same firm for over 30 years and I certainly felt that what we've been paying (10k minimum) was somewhat taking the mick.

We're a similar size OP and similar set up and pay around £1,900 a year for Ltd company accounts and my personal accounts. The accountancy firm is not a City big boy but decent sized firm.

They look after payroll at £125 per quarter.

Thanks for this, we're also Surrey/SW London - would you recommend the firm you use? If so would you be kind enough to share by PM?
