Advice re sale of Web domain please?

Hi

My manufacturing business purchased a web domain name 2 years ago. I now feel not appropriate to use and would appreciate any thoughts on how we best sell. We did pay a premium so would like to recover if possible.

It’s on 1-2-3 reg com site as for sale but are there any other effective routes you could advise to help sale ?

Sedo would be the best generic place to list it IMO. If you can say what the domain name is, you may get better advice.

It was bought for a construction product that would be nailed on! But also thinking a betting type site might quite like it ??

I'd say it's worth somewhere between £500 and £5k. I'd put it on sedo at £3k and see if you get any interest - it may take a while. Might also be worth approaching companies who may be interested. There is a 'nailed on' beauty salon in Australia for example. I assume Nailedon Limited was yours? If not it's disolved now but may be worth talking to the founder.
