Hi All

I wondered if anyone used these guys?

We are currently with Satander but not massively enjoying the experience. Tide looks very much like a business version of Revolut? I see this as a good thing for the functionality but I wouldn't use Revolut as my main bank account so I am a little wary of going all in for the business!

Any thoughts by anyone? Thanks in advance.

Having read a bit more on this I am going to avoid. It looks like the fancy app might be the only thing they have going for them. Reviews are not great.

Seems to be the same story with a lot of these new challenger banks

I've been with them a year and if, like me, your incoming and outgoing payments are all electronic and not too complex, it's absolutely fine. And about 20p a transaction.

Two things, though.

(i)The transfers are not quite instantaneous, so there's a couple of hours' delay before the money lands in the account or the payee's account; and

(ii) The last time I looked, they didn't accept cheques.

I've not needed to send money abroad or anything exotic.

The app is very well thought out and adding payees is very simple.

I've no regrets.
