Moving From Kash Flow To Xero Accounts

Has anyone moved from one accounting system to another?
We're on Kash Flow which I love BUT we're looking at getting an order management system, at the minute OrderHive seems to be the best fit, it does everything we need however it integrates with Xero.
Most software out there doesn't integrate with KF, some does, but the software itself isn't a great fit for what we want.
So I'm contemplating moving from KF to Xero to make it all easier.. however we've been on KF since 2013.
We can technically keep our Magento stores syncing to KF via CarryTheOne as existing and eBay sales directly import via PayPal but Amazon sales won't and it's £30 per website per month for the integration on top of the order management system costs.
Anyone done this before?
I have asked my accountant and he is willing to help, I just want to make sure it's the right choice before doing it.
