Mobile mechanic - insurance advise

Hi all

I run a part time company, doing work on road, track, race, modified and classic cars on a mobile basis and looking for insurance recommendations. I don't do any road testing and my van is already covered so I guess I just need liability?

I tried to get a quote awhile ago but only 1 company (I can't remember who) would give me a quote due to the nature of the vehicles I work on. What's more, they wanted £350 a month, which pretty makes doing my part time work pointless!

Can anyone give me recommendations for who they use for a similar job or any good recommendations?

I remember I ran a Motorsport company years ago, and was dealing with track cars / fast road cars with a self contained unit, and the insurance was £6000 a year before you've even opened your doors.
