Anybody do MDF laser/CNC cutting?

Or, can anyone recommend a company?

I need nine 48" x 96" sheets of MDF to be cut. Some 6mm, some 12mm, some 18mm for a project I'm working on. I can supply a .dxf drawing.

Any ideas of cost for that sort of job?

Google for laser cutting and waterjet cutting job shops, and ask for a price (waterjet may be better for the thicker stuff)

Quite a lot further north than me in Hertfordshire.

The furthest up the country we have been for CNC machining is a company called Wupdoodle in Suffolk.

I should imagine they ship. We have a 5 axis CNC machine ourselves so just go out to other suppliers when our machines are full, so you might find a joinery company closer to you that have a CNC machine that if not running 100% of the time wouldn't mind doing some extra.

Its the programming that takes the time, so if you have the files ready to go I cant see why someone wouldn't be able to take it on without too much problem.
