Just doing a little research, does anyone use either of these for business, they do seem pretty good at first glance. A more modern approach to business banking, with exceptionally low charges!

I have used both (as mentioned on another thread). Revolut wins for me.

When I was looking for a business account, these two were on my list, but I ended up with Tide.
Very happy with the account, app and functionality. All I expected.
Might be worth checking?

Neither link to Quickbooks though do they? To be honest that's the only reason I'm staying with HSBC.

It's a shame the table is inaccurate - as I mentioned in the finance forum.

They link to Xero though which is what we use.

I use Starling (with Xero) and really like it .

I also have Revolte and tide accounts as well as transferwise and some others as backups/other spaces but starling is the only one I really use.

My business isnt that complex though (professional services so its just fee + VAT and then all my costs) so it may be less useful for other sorts of businesses.

I have Tide & Starling.

Tide do not do their own clearing. This means inbound & outbound payments take 2 hours or close to. Starling are instant in my experience.

I find the Starling app more intuitive than Tide but YMMV.

Against that, I’m able to set up multiple accounts quickly in Tide & get cards for each, which is handy.

Tide Euro account was a pain to get; this is a corollary of Tide not doing their own clearing.

no i'm a sole trader, when I opened mine you had to have a personal account open also if you weren't limited so I opened that and had the business account minutes later. I can't see anything saying that stance has changed

Try Monzo as well, I use it with a small business I run with a family member and have had no hassles.

I've had most of them, preference is Starling for both personal and business accounts. I also use Revolut, though mainly for their virtual/disposable cards. Revolut aren't backed so your £85k is not as safe (technically) as Starling, so I only use it for small change.
