Company Electric car question

Hi

I have a friend who is the CEO of a charity.

Would like electric car which will be paid by the charity. The CEO’s salary is just under £50k.

What is the tax implications on this one ? Which electric car is best - averaging 20,000 miles per year.

Advice please ?

I believe that as from 1st April an all electric car does not attract any BIK for company users so unless I have misunderstood if it's used by him and owned by a company he pays no company car tax.

If it isn't 0 it's very close to it. I think there may also be some benefit to the company in terms of writing the value off against tax or something, but you'll need to look into the details.
