Has anyone used these folks to secure a NED?

My OH is looking to take on a NED role in the future and came across this company.

They come across as very slick in many ways - excellent sales patter, and claims of high placement rates, but seem to have very limited membership given their claims.

Also have an odd star system rating... Plus upfront costs.

Enough to make my alarm bells ring, but wondered whether anyone has any first hand experience?

Can't help you with anything company related, but I'd say the best thing to use for securing a Ned is a police Alsatian.

There seem a few of these "networks" out there who seem to be skirting the edges of the Employment Agency Act by levying fees for what look suspiciously like regulated activities. All are strong on sales patter, which suggests to me that there's a rich seam of people who like the idea of sitting on boards once a month in return for money, but a shortage of actual opportunities.

As the wise man once said, in a gold rush the only man guaranteed to make money is the man selling shovels...
