3D laser Scanning Reverse Eng Services
Discussion
Hello guys,
Our workload has dropped a little for obvious reasons and to try and drum up some business to tide us over we are offering our awesome metrology grade services at reduced rates. The service is typically used by customers for the following purposes:
1. Heritage: Reverse engineer to develop a replacement replica part, for example items may no longer be available to buy new.
2. Scanning for machining, some companies require scan data of cast or forged parts to check tolerances and also set machines up for machining said parts.
3. To create products that fit the scanned part to obtain a perfect fit.
4. To create a newer improved product based on the original scanned part.
5. Data for an assembly where a CAD model of the part does not exist.
We use a Creaform scanner that cost in excess of 50k, it is a metrology grade scanner and most of the time we do not need to scan at the highest resolution it can obtain. If you've got a part that requires scanning that can be posted to us then please give us a shout with the details and I can get back to you!
Apologies if soliciting business is against PH policies and I will remove if that's the case. I am hoping that help can be mutually beneficial, a reduced rate for the work with the knowledge that the customer is helping us cover our overheads.
Cheers!
