Companies that have gone bust due to CV19
Discussion
Having set up and slowly working on establishing my company by getting as many contracts and certs/regs in place, this year hasn't been good considering I've properly been doing this for 5 months now.
For me, site surveys have been put on hold and even remote WiFi heat-mapping has dried up. Potential network kit/device quotes haven't come through for a while but having just started, it's not that big a hit for the two of us business partners at present as a lot of others are being hit worse.
Carphone Warehouse is one of the main ones I know of that has closed (probably will still operate mobiles.co.uk online).
As the economy shrinks, which companies do you know of that have gone bust? Must be an alarming amount but looking for news articles, there doesn't appear to be a list of all those unfortunately effected.

I'm not aware of any major business closing down yet. Debenhams have filed for protection though and I know they don't plan to reopen some stores after the lockdown.
I imagine a lot of small businesses will no longer be around. Plumbers, sparkles, one man taxi co, airport transfers, etc.

Bright House brought it on themselves one would assume.
I appreciate larger companies will be the focus, but what about the smaller ones? I would have thought there was some kind of regional information that may be found somewhere? Or even by sector some place online.
Not for any weird kick really but just to see actual examples of unfortunate events for these businesses as I'm curious.
The closest to any list really is just one of shop closures in the retail sector:

So far everything of scale that has gone has been existing distress accelerated. The most obvious examples being in retail and casual dining.
There are still more of these to come
The 100% direct attributable stuff is building up in the background and will manifest itself most obviously if and when things like airports, ground handlers and even airlines enter processes designed to seek protection from creditors.

You can play around with the filters to filter by postcode and type of insolvency.
