Pharmaceuticals are chemicals. What do you want to look at with optical equipment?

I am trying to find a LINEAR XY STAGE device - its used by biologists in the pharmaceutical sector who need optical alignment equipment

Aha so like a pick and place machine, is it a table that has to move to exact coordinates very quickly so a pipette can come down and squirt stuff into test tubes? It might use image recognition to do this which would be the 'optical' bit. I still can't answer the question but I've amused myself trying to figure it out

Ahh, sorry, our stuff is designed to be integrated into a chamber. I will ask to see if anyone can suggest a supplier and let you know if they have one.
