There was a chap on here that was very knowledgeable about the furlough scheme, I can't find the thread.

One of my wife's employees who is on furlough has been called for jury service. She will be on furlough when her jury service starts, and will still be on furlough when jury service ends.

Can anybody advise me on how w handle this please, we have a form to complete relating to the employee wages.

I have read that the employee should be taken off furlough at the start of the service, and then put back on at the end of the service. Is this correct?

Thanks.

Just inform the boss and let them deal with it

My wife is the boss. One of her employees has been called.

Her accountant has provided the answer anyway.

Don’t forget you cannot be furloughed after the 10 June

Incorrect. You cannot be furloughed after 10th June IF you haven't been furloughed previously. There are exceptions though.

To leave her on furlough and not claim the daily rate for attending jury service.
