As my TikTok fame hurdles ever upwards I’m finding people need a bit more than a question answered. I’m happy to give all I know but if I’m going to spend days doing this (37 phone calls in a week and we’re only 4 weeks in) then I need to monetise it.

Seen Patreon not sure if it’s right but short of having an 0898 number (!) I’m not sure of the answer.

Any help appreciated.

Patreon is used by a lot of Youtubers to provide additional content - thinks like early access, exclusive videos - for wood workers, plans for projects etc

I dont use it but would suggest its more for people who will want to build up a regular following rather than one of payments.

DS - Patreon are going to take 5% or more as their cut.

A clever chap like yourself should be able to figure out a way to not pay that 5%!

Certainly, it doesn't but when googling Onlyfans, the first 4 links look suspiciously NSFW!

It's used by YouTubers to generate income in lieu of adverts. George at Soup Classic Motoring has it so that it's more of a tip jar. You do get update videos from him on Patreon, but you don't get the videos early either. And it's a flat rate, and in my opinion that's how it should be.

You need separate lines for sales and support. Sales line can be set to "we're too busy right now, you can also email us via sales@dsliverpool.com" etc while you've got better things to be doing, ie. looking after your paying customers and dealing with their questions as your priority.

No-one is going to send you Patreon money to just to ask a pre-sales question. No-one is going to ring a premium rate number either.

If they are existing customers who wish to change to a different product with you then time to suck it up if you want to keep them. If the answer to their question is mostly the same, create a FAQ on your website and politely direct them there. If your 37 phone calls has a good conversion rate, hire more staff. If it doesn't then separate the lines, make a 'press 2 for info on how to sort your tiktok st out', assign a specific ring tone to it and then ignore it when it rings.

I’m telling people how to sell, buy, market and ship online - nothing to sell but words.

I’ve been advised that paid for multi participant zoom is a thing. I’ll have a look at that. I’m doing anything to avoid having to sell actual items again biggrin

I pay a subscription to a patron user.

The one I subscribe to allows different tiers of access.

Well, certainly, I make money by doing non-adult things on Zoom. Happy to chat if you want.
